How To: Send E-Books to your devices
Kindle Readers
- Get Your Kindle Email Address:
> Go to Amazon's Manage Your Content and Devices page.
>Sign in with your Amazon account.
>Click on the "Devices" tab.
>Select your Kindle device.
>Find your Kindle email address (e.g., yourname@kindle.com).
- Add Your Email Address to Approved Senders List:
>While on the same page, click the "Preferences" tab.
>Scroll down to "Personal Document Settings".
>Under "Approved Personal Document E-mail List," click "Add a new approved e-mail address".
>Enter the email address you will be sending from and click "Add Address".
- Email the eBook:
>Open your email client.
>Compose a new email to your Kindle email address.
>Attach the eBook file (supported formats: .mobi, .azw, .pdf, etc.).
>Send the email.
- Sync Your Kindle:
>Turn on your Kindle and connect it to Wi-Fi.
>Your eBook should appear in your library within a few minutes.
Apple Books
1. **Prepare the eBook File**:
- Ensure the eBook is in a supported format (.epub, .pdf).
2. **Use Email or Cloud Storage**:
- Email the eBook file to yourself or upload it to a cloud storage service like iCloud Drive, Dropbox, or Google Drive.
3. **Open the eBook on Your iOS Device**:
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the email or cloud storage app where the eBook file is located.
- Tap on the eBook file to open it.
4. **Import to Apple Books**:
- Tap the share icon (a square with an arrow pointing up).
- Select "Copy to Books" or "Open in Books".
- The eBook will be added to your Apple Books library.
Google Play Books
1. **Prepare the eBook File**:
- Ensure the eBook is in a supported format (.epub, .pdf).
2. **Upload to Google Play Books**:
- Open a web browser on your computer.
- Go to [Google Play Books Upload Page](https://play.google.com/books/uploads).
- Sign in with your Google account.
- Drag and drop the eBook file into the upload area or click "Select files from your computer" to upload.
3. **Access on Your Device**:
- Open the Google Play Books app on your Android or iOS device.
- Ensure you are signed in with the same Google account.
- Tap on "Library" to find your uploaded eBook.
OverDrive (Libby)
1. **Check Compatibility**:
- Ensure your eBook is compatible with OverDrive (typically .epub or .pdf files).
2. **Use Email or Cloud Storage**:
- Email the eBook file to yourself or upload it to a cloud storage service like iCloud Drive, Dropbox, or Google Drive.
3. **Open the eBook in OverDrive**:
- On your device, open the email or cloud storage app where the eBook file is located.
- Tap on the eBook file to open it.
- Tap the share icon (a square with an arrow pointing up).
4. **Import to OverDrive (Libby)**:
- Choose "Copy to Libby" or "Open in Libby" (depending on the app version).
- The eBook will be added to your OverDrive library.
Aldiko
1. **Prepare the eBook File**:
- Ensure the eBook is in a supported format (.epub, .pdf).
2. **Use Email or Cloud Storage**:

FB Reader

4. **Import to FBReader**:
